If we put God first and focus on Him, he will cause our anxieties to decrease, even though our circumstances might be ones that are difficult or painful. In this sermon, Pastor Dick Beaumont talks about how we need not elevate our circumstances above God. We can’t focus on tomorrow or the things we cannot control, as God gives us grace for the present. Worry has the danger of dampening our hope and weakening our faith. Jesus doesn’t downplay our trials, but he says, “let me do the heavy lifting”.
