The Past is History (Philippians 3:7-14, Philippians 1:21, Luke 9:62, Isaiah 43:1)

Dick Beaumont, January 17, 2016
Part of the Vision Casting 2016 series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Philippians 3:7-14; Philippians 1:21; Luke 9:62; Isaiah 43:1. We all have history. Some good things, some bad things. When we look at our past, we can either learn and go forward or we can dwell there and let sorrow and greif to overwhelm us and negatively affect our relationship with Jesus. In Philippians 3:7-14, we see that Paul looks at his past to train him and show him what is important. In this sermon, Pastor Dick Beaumont looks at how to allow the past to build us up and strenghten us instead of getting in the way.
